Going to college later in life and pursuing an art degree because nothing else gives me as much peace、joy, or satisfaction. I joined the military right out of high school and spent 20 years moving from place to place, collecting experiences and family members, facing hardships and good times, meeting different people from all walks of life. Now I want to continue to branch out and extend my experiences and broaden my scope of knowledge. I have no formal art train up until Fall of 2015 but have always enjoyed drawing. I'm currently a freshman working on a B.FA (Studio), have taken classes that have increased my proficiency with Illustrator, Photoshop as well as continue to build on traditional artist skills (drawing, painting, sculpting). I'm also in my second semester of introductory Japanese. 日本語がおずかしいです。でもおもしろいです。 I learn a little more each week.
